Hi, I am Mrs. Shaw. I am originally from Jamaica but now living in the United States. I currently teach Math & Science to 3rd graders but I have lots of experience teaching 2nd graders Math and Reading. I enjoy reading motivational books and listening to worship music.

I have 19 years of teaching experience in the sunny state of Florida. I have taught a variety of subjects including Reading, Writing, and Math to learners in kindergarten through 6th grade. My Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology has given me a unique perspective on education that allows me to connect with my students in a meaningful way.

Hello I'm Ms. Briana! I am so excited to work with your child on their education journey. I have taught Pre-K, 1st, and 2nd grade and currently work as an Instructional Technology Specialist. I also have experience teaching Kindergarten summer school and have tutored reading and math both in person and online. I love using games, videos, and 'drag and drop' activities to ensure kids are engaged and see that learning can be fun. I believe when you meet children where they are it builds their confidence and love for learning. My favorite part about working with kids is seeing that excitement when they have that "light bulb" moment when they finally understand something they were struggling with. It is truly my passion to bridge the learning gap and help children have understanding, confidence and appreciation for education. In my spare time I enjoy working out, reading, traveling, building legos and painting.
