I am a mom of three and educator for over 8 years. I love being able to help families and their students learn and thrive.

I have been a teacher for 5 years, focusing on ELA and Social Studies for learners in Kindergarten through 6th grade. My experience has taken me from the sunny state of Texas to the bustling city of Washington D.C. and back! I hold a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, a Juris Doctorate (JD), and a Master's degree in Education (M.Ed). With my EC-6 certification, I am well-equipped to provide engaging and personalized lessons for young learners. I am fluent in English and utilize interactive activities to make online learning fun and enjoyable for kids. As an educator, I am dedicated to ensuring online learning is effective for my students. I use the gradual release model and frequently check for understanding to make sure every learner is successful. Outside of teaching, I enjoy reading historical fiction and sci-fi novels. While these interests do not directly influence my teaching style, they do help me connect with learners and make our sessions even more engaging.
