I have been teaching for 11 wonderful years and was recently awarded with the 2024-2025 Teacher Of the Year accolade. To say that I was overjoyed and humbled by this honor would be an understatement. I have experience in all topics for pre K through 3rd grade including Math, Science, and Reading. Throughout my career, I have had the pleasure of teaching in Georgia and have received my Masters of Arts in Education degree. I am also a Certified birth through Kindergarten teacher, which means I have specialized training in teaching young learners. I understand that each child learns in their own unique way and I strive to create a personalized and engaging learning experience for each of my students. In fact, I love to use engaging backgrounds and relatable ideas during my sessions with kids. So if your child loves cars, I may use a slide where they can count cars while learning math! As an educator, I believe that making learning fun and enjoyable is crucial for the success of my students. Outside of teaching, one of my hobbies is listening to music and trying new coffee shops. While I am embarking on my first tutoring experience, I have been a teacher for 10 years with experience in both 1st and 2nd grade.
