Spanish Tutoring for 2nd Grade

I have been teaching for 10 years and have experience teaching learners in grades PK-5th. My passion for teaching led me to pursue a Bachelors Degree in Special Education and Elementary Education. I am proud to be certified in FCCPC for Early Childhood and TESOL for English as a Second Language. Plus, I am also fluent in Spanish! My teaching experience has primarily been in Florida, where I have had the opportunity to work with diverse learners and families. I am dedicated to making online learning fun and engaging for my students. I do this by incorporating interactive games, engaging slides, and interactive stories/manipulatives into my lessons. These methods have proven to be effective in keeping learners interested and motivated to learn. Besides teaching, I love spending time with my family, reading, trying new foods, and continuing my learning in education. These interests have influenced my teaching style and methodology in many ways. Reading has helped me find new and creative ways to engage my learners, while constantly learning about education has allowed me to adapt to new teaching strategies and techniques. I am always open to suggestions and feedback from families and learners, as I believe it is important to listen and incorporate their thoughts into my lessons. I'm certified for, and have taught bilingual (Spanish) math and science for grades 5, 4 and 2. My prior professional life was in the private sector, and my master's degree is in computer science, which is why I feel so comfortable with technology and incorporate it so much into my teaching. I'm known for creating fun, engaging lessons, and helping students understand and love math!
