Math Tutoring for 7th Grade

Hi my name is Mrs. Wild and I am excited to start this learning journey with you! Through my 25 years of teaching experience, I have had the opportunity to work with learners in grades 5 through 9, teaching a variety of subjects including Common Core Math, Elementary Education, and Middle School curriculum. I have been honored as SMECO Science Teacher of the Year and I am an alumni of the Mickelson ExxonMobil Teachers Academy. I have taught in the beautiful state of Maryland, where I currently reside. My passion for education led me to earn a Master of Education with a STEAMD focus, and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Middle (1-8). I also hold several teaching certifications, including APL in Elementary and Middle (1-8), Reading, and Special Education. With my extensive background and qualifications, I am confident in my ability to support and guide learners in their educational journey. As an educator, I believe in making learning enjoyable and effective for my students. I strive to create an engaging and fun learning environment by connecting lesson topics to my learners' personal interests. I celebrate successes and encourage productive struggles, fostering a love of learning. My lessons are interactive and hands-on, utilizing various manipulatives to keep learners actively engaged. To ensure the effectiveness of online learning, I rely on visual and verbal cues from my learners, exit slips, direct observation and the support of Dojo's recording of their work during sessions. Outside of teaching, I enjoy a range of hobbies and interests that greatly influence my teaching style and methodology. I love coloring, listening to audio books, painting, and spending time in nature. My family, which includes my husband, children, and grandchildren, is a constant source of joy and inspiration. I also love spending time with my dog, Petey, swimming, and going to the beach. Through my diverse interests, I bring creativity, patience, and enthusiasm to my teaching, making it an enjoyable and rewarding experience for my learners. I am looking forward to meeting you and helping you to become a lifelong learner!

I have been teaching since 2014 to learners in grades K to 7th. My expertise and qualifications allow me to work closely with learners who may require extra support and assistance in their studies. I have had the pleasure of teaching in both Illinois and internationally, where I have gained valuable experience in tailoring my teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners and cultures. I am fluent in English and Filipino (Tagalog), which has allowed me to connect with learners from various backgrounds. Outside of teaching, I enjoy reading, yoga, traveling, and indulging in geeky and nerdy pop culture.

Hi!!! I'm Ms. Bri!! I have 3 plus years of experience teaching and tutoring different ages and stages, with 16 plus years working with children in other capacities such as case management, mental health, mentoring, and in a daycare setting. I love reading, writing, dancing, listening to music, and thrift shopping! I have a 4-year-old German Shepherd who weighs about 80 pounds, but thinks he weighs 5! My passion is connection with children and their families; connection helps with the learning and growth process. Hi! I’m Elizabeth “Hope,” a former public school teacher with 15 years of experience teaching grades 2–5 in all subjects and math through Algebra I in grades 6–8. I’ve taught in both Texas and North Carolina and hold a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies and an M.S. in Educational Leadership, with certifications in Elementary Education (K–6), Exceptional Children (K–12), and School Administration. I’m passionate about making learning joyful and engaging by incorporating student interests, interactive elements, and meaningful assessments.

We are a family living in Saint Louis, Missouri. I’ve spent 2 lively years teaching kids. I have taught in-person at an elementary school teaching subjects math, reading, writing, science, social studies to students with developmental delays. I have even guided college students online to code web design and other computer technologies. It’s been a good experience so far, with students thanking me for the grades and rewards they acquired and, higher officials' recognition for my work in helping students reach their goals. I can’t wait to bring that excitement to our sessions as a Dojo tutor ! Hello families! My name is Ms. Tiara, and I am passionate about helping students grow academically, emotionally, and creatively. I’ve worked with learners ages 3–17 across a wide range of subjects, including reading literacy, math (from foundational skills to advanced concepts like algebra and trigonometry), writing, phonics, science, and social studies. I also have experience in SPED, ABA strategies, and supporting students with dyslexia, autism, ataxia, and other diverse learning needs.

I have been teaching for almost 18 years already, both in my home country Philippines, and in the USA. I like to see aha moments of my students, especially in Math.

Hello! I am Ms.Emily. I am a 3rd grade teacher in Indiana. I have been teaching for 14 years and tutoring for 10. I tutor grades K-8. I have taught a variety of learners. I work at a summer camp as a Head Counselor in the summer and enjoy spending my summers in Maine.

With 11 years of teaching under my belt, I’ve had the pleasure of guiding learners from 3rd to 10th grade. My passions lie in Reading, Writing, and the fascinating world of Science, especially at grades 3 to 6. I’ve taught in sunny Nevada and love helping kids discover the magic in every lesson, whether it’s through engaging stories or cool science experiments! To make online learning fun and effective, I create a warm and interactive environment where everyone feels comfortable sharing and exploring. My lessons are filled with bright visuals, real-life examples, and lots of games! I break things down into bite-sized pieces and check in often to make sure my learners are understanding and having a blast. With over 14 years of teaching experience, I have had the pleasure of working with learners in Kindergarten through 5th grade. My focus has been on reading and math, two subjects that I am passionate about. I have been teaching in the great state of Texas where I have been able to make a positive impact in the lives of many kids. I hold a Bachelors Degree in Education and am certified to teach from Early Childhood to 8th grade in both general education and English as a Second Language (ESL). My approach to online learning is to make it fun and engaging for learners by personalizing lessons based on their interests. I also ensure that online learning is effective by providing frequent feedback and facilitating discussions to see how learners got to their answers. Outside of teaching, I love spending time with my family, going camping, and reading. I am inspired to create a learning environment that is welcoming and enjoyable for all learners.
