Hi friends💫! I’m Ms. Blount — a lifelong teacher, learner, and lover of all things education! I’ve been teaching for over 25 years, and I absolutely love helping students discover their strengths, build confidence, and have fun while learning. I’ve taught just about every grade level, and I also work as an online tutor for reading and math (Grades 2–8). I believe learning should feel like an adventure — full of curiosity, creativity, and those wonderful “aha!” moments that make kids smile. When I’m not teaching, you’ll probably find me reading a good book, exploring new places, or enjoying nature walks. I also love puzzles, cooking fun recipes, listening to music, and doing arts and crafts — anything that sparks creativity and imagination! My goal is to make every student feel capable, curious, and proud of their progress. I’m so excited for all the learning and adventures we’ll share this year 📚✨

I have been teaching for 14 years, specializing in grades 7 to 12 in the subjects of English and Social Sciences. I have taught in Georgia and hold a Bachelor of Arts in English, a Masters in Secondary Education, and a Masters in Special Education. I am also certified in English and Social Sciences, and am gifted endorsed. In addition to my love for teaching, I have many interests and hobbies outside of the classroom. I enjoy reading, traveling, spending time with my family, and going to church. These activities not only bring me joy and relaxation, but also greatly influence my teaching style in a positive manner. I believe in building relationships with my students, and using their personal interests and backgrounds to make learning more relatable and enjoyable. During our 1:1 sessions, I strive to create a fun and engaging learning environment for my young learners. I believe in the power of educational games and using relatable background information to keep them captivated and motivated. To ensure that online learning is effective, I use various strategies such as consistent engagement, encouraging questions, and helping students express their thoughts and ideas effectively. From this experience, I have gained a great understanding of student capabilities. I can provide individualized support in areas of need. With 11 years of experience teaching kids from Kindergarten through 9th grade, I’ve found a passion for making learning fun. I've taught a variety of subjects, including English Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies, Coding, and Health in the sunny state of Mississippi. My hard work, dedication, and passion for teaching are so evident that I won Alternate Teacher of the Year for Mississippi in 2023!

Hi families! My name is Tiffany, and I’m truly passionate about helping children grow, learn, and feel confident in their abilities. I’ve been an educator for 9 years, teaching 2nd, 3rd, and 5th grade, and I currently hold a Master’s degree in Elementary Education. I’m also ESL certified, LBS1 certified, and trained in Orton-Gillingham—tools that allow me to support a wide range of learners in meaningful, effective ways. Hi, I’m Miss Chelsea! I have bachelor’s and master’s degrees in English, with an emphasis in American literature, and four years of experience teaching first-year writing and rhetoric at the college level. Although I primarily teach freshmen in college, many of the skills I help my students develop (thesis development, reading comprehension, literary analysis, research, etc.) all stem from the same foundation! I love helping students really understand what they’re reading, find their voice, and communicate their ideas clearly and confidently, especially in writing.

I live in Georgia with my husband and 2-year-old son, Elliott. I love to read, travel, and scrapbook, and I believe these passions help me to bring stories to life and make learning more fun. I taught at Gwinnett County Public Schools for 6 years, teaching both sixth and tenth grade Language Arts. I have a Bachelor's Degree in English.

I have been teaching for 15 years and have experience working with learners in Kindergarten through 12th grade. I have been teaching for 4 years and have had the pleasure of working with learners in kindergarten and first grade. I have also taught 9th and 10th-grade Literature as well as American Literature to 11th-grade students. I have taught in both Florida and Georgia, but I am currently located in Florida while teaching 5th graders. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and a Master of Education degree in Reading Education. Additionally, I have earned endorsements in both Reading and English as a Second Language. My specialties include reading support, general academic tutoring, and social-emotional learning (SEL) — all with a focus on helping students feel successful and reducing the stress that homework time can bring to families. I believe learning should be fun, engaging, and encouraging.
