With 27 wonderful years of experience under my belt, I have had the joy of teaching Kindergarten through 4th grade in Ohio. My favorite subjects are reading, math, science, social studies, and writing. I believe that every child has a unique story to tell, and I can’t wait to help them discover their own through engaging lessons! To make our online sessions as fun as a rollercoaster ride, I love using props and positive reinforcement. We’ll play games, explore different activities, and I’ll always be cheering you on! My superpower is breaking down learning into bite-sized pieces, so it’s easier to digest and remember. I have been teaching for 18 years, primarily in Texas and Florida, for learners in grades 2 through 5. My degrees include a Bachelor's in Psychology and a Master's in Education, and I am certified in English as a Second Language (ESL) and Gifted and Talented (GT). In my online sessions, I love to use interactive platforms to keep my students engaged and having fun while learning. I am certified to teach general education from birth to 6th grade, as well as holding a Middle School ELA certification. This could include incorporating their favorite characters or using fun online platforms like Kahoot, Nearpod, and Blooket.
