With over 15 years of experience in teaching, I have had the privilege of working with learners in PK, K, and 1st grade in the beautiful state of New Jersey. I hold a Bachelor's Degree with a double major in Elementary Education and Psychology, as well as a minor in Early Childhood Education. I am also certified as an Early Childhood Educator for PK-3, Elementary Education for K-6, and Teacher of Psychology. Outside of teaching, I enjoy crafting, spending time outdoors, and making memories with my family. These passions also influence my teaching style and methodology, as I love to incorporate creativity and exploration into my lessons. I believe that learning should be a fun and enjoyable experience, and I am committed to making online learning just as engaging and effective as in-person instruction. I have two daughters (16 and 22). My oldest just graduated with a degree in Biology and my youngest is attending 11th grade at an Early College Program.

I’m married with three adult children and six grandchildren. I have a lively dog named Buccy who keeps me on my toes. As a family, we love playing, coaching, and watching sports together!

I enjoy continuing to expand my knowledge of designing curriculum, instruction and assessments by utilizing scientific researched-based methods to increase my effectiveness at implementing academic and social strategies when addressing the needs of all learners. I enjoy building and maintaining positive relationships within and outside of the learning environment because it is an important factor as it relates to overall success in the educational setting. And last, but not least, I enjoy spending time with my family and strengthening my relationship with God.

I’m passionate about helping young children build strong foundations in reading, math, and school readiness while also building confidence and a love of learning. I believe learning should feel safe, encouraging, and fun, and I enjoy partnering with families to support each child’s growth.

Hello! I'm Mrs. Rose. For my background, I’m currently pursuing my Master’s degree in Counseling and have several years of experience supporting children of all ages in a variety of educational settings. I have experience as both a school counseling and clinical counseling intern - focusing on helping grade-school children and teens. I also have experience as an educational assistant in a cross-categorical classroom supporting elementary students with diverse learning needs. I also spent five summers working with preschool-aged children as a teaching assistant and the program's director’s assistant. Outside of work and educational goals, I love walking my dogs - Harvey and Ollie. I enjoy reading a good book and sipping on a mug of hot chocolate with extra marshmallows! I also have fun playing video games (building in Minecraft), watching a good show or movie with my family (K Pop Demon Hunters, Bluey, and others), and anything involving art, music, or imagination. I can't wait to learn more about you as we learn together!

Hello :D I live in Virginia and come from a family of educators. I learned to truly value education from a young age. I was a substitute teacher for 12 years, enjoying flexibility and varied classroom experiences while my children were young. My full-time teaching experiences include teaching 5th grade one year, 2nd grade for six years and working as a reading specialist for six years. I have also taught summer school several years, enjoyed teaching a few homebound students, and tutored through the school system, the Boys' and Girls' Club, and privately. These experiences have instilled me with the knowledge and experience that I need to enable me to pinpoint and address students' academic needs. I truly value the opportunity to help students gain newfound confidence as they strengthen their skills and close learning gaps and to make learning fun!

Hi Parents & Students! I’m Ms. Rachael, and I’m so excited to meet you! I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Japanese (Asian Studies) and a Master’s Degree in Business. Teaching is my 2nd career. I have 6 years experience tutoring international students in English and conversation skills. I also have 2 years classroom teaching experience with elementary and middle school students, and over 10 years of volunteering with children through Girl Scouts, classroom programs and community activities. For eight years, I was a foster parent, which gave me the opportunity to work with kids from all kinds of backgrounds and helped me develop strong social-emotional and communication skills. I also have ADHD, so I understand that every child learns differently — and I love finding creative, supportive ways to help each learner succeed and feel confident. I’m especially passionate about reading, writing, and language, and I believe learning should be both fun and meaningful. I’ve traveled and lived in other countries, and while English is my only fluent language (for now!), I’ve studied a bit of French, Spanish, Japanese, and Mandarin — I’m a lifelong learner at heart!
