I have been teaching for 12 years, and have experience teaching learners in 1st, 3rd, and 4th grade in all subjects. My favorite state to teach in is Arizona, where I have been able to help many kids succeed in school. I hold a degree in Elementary Education grades K-8, as well as a masters in differentiated instruction. I am also a National Board Certified Teacher, which means I have gone above and beyond to excel in my teaching methods. Besides my qualifications, I make online learning fun and engaging by incorporating my learners' interests into our lessons. I know that every student has different likes and dislikes, and I strive to make sure each lesson is tailored to their individual needs. By offering choices and using creative strategies, I can guarantee that your child will be excited to learn with me. Not only do I focus on making learning enjoyable, but I also use effective strategies to make sure our online sessions are productive and engaging for your child. When I'm not teaching, I love spending time with my family and friends. I enjoy going camping, traveling, and spending time outdoors. Reading is also one of my favorite hobbies, which I incorporate into my teaching as much as possible. I believe that my personal interests influence my teaching style, as I understand the importance of making connections with my learners. I am looking forward to getting to know your child and helping them reach their full potential through fun and effective online learning sessions. Let's start this journey together!

From the quiet Indiana countryside to the windy deserts of Saudi Arabia, life has taken me on an unexpected journey. Each crossroad has brought me closer to this place as an individual and as an educator, driven by my family and a love for education. I believe that learning is a social process that calls upon children, their families, and teachers to construct, celebrate, and reflect upon learning. I believe that respectful relationships are built from positive presumptions, in a safe and trusting environment, where personal energy is directed to learning. My life has been surrounded by passionate educators from my childhood spent within my parents’ classrooms. I understand that children share their understandings in many ways and value creative, physical, and social expressions of learning. Now more than ever, we need our profession to come together and share best practices as we go forth into the unknown future. In a learning environment with defined curriculum outcomes, I believe personal passions and individual expressions of learning provide unique opportunities for authentic, meaningful engagement with the curriculum. I believe that great teachers make memories, and the rest are forgotten. This means building relationships. Children come to school seeking a sense of balance, sense of compassion, and sense of success. As a foreigner in a culture that is not my own, learning a language that is not my own, I am grateful for life's twists and turns that have led me to the place of empathy and sociocultural competence where I find myself today.

I have been teaching for 11 years in various states and regions including Germany, New York, Nevada, Oklahoma, Missouri, and Washington. During my teaching career, I have worked with learners of all ages, from Kindergarten to Collegiate, and taught a wide range of subjects. While I can work with students who speak different languages, I only speak English so basic English is preferred for a great tutoring experience. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, a Masters in Teaching, and I am currently a Doctoral Candidate in Educational Administration and Leadership. I am certified in General Education and Special Education, which allows me to provide personalized support to kids with diverse learning needs. I am also fluent in English and enjoy incorporating my knowledge of different languages into my teaching. I understand that online learning can be challenging, but I am committed to making it a fun and engaging experience for your kids. I use various strategies such as rewards systems, props, and humor to keep learners interested and motivated. I also encourage my students to take the lead in their learning by asking questions and actively participating in lessons. This allows me to ensure that online learning is effective and beneficial for each child. Outside of teaching, I love to travel, spend time outdoors, listen to music, dance, bake, read, and play games with my family. These interests not only bring joy to my life, but they also influence my teaching style. I believe that incorporating fun and flexibility into the classroom can make learning a more enjoyable and meaningful experience for kids. I am looking forward to getting to know your family and helping your kids reach their full potential!
