I have been teaching for 3 years, focusing on 1:1 sessions with kids in Kindergarten through 6th grade. I have taught a variety of subjects including reading, writing, math, and special education. I am passionate about making learning fun and accessible for all learners. I have taught in Mississippi and have a Masters in teaching. My degree has equipped me with the skills and knowledge to create personalized and engaging lessons for each learner. I also hold a teaching certification in ESL, which has allowed me to support students who are learning English as a Second Language. I believe that online learning should be both fun and effective. To make my lessons enjoyable, I use my engaging personality and incorporate my students' interests into the lessons. I also utilize visuals to enhance their learning experience. To ensure that online learning is effective, I keep eye contact and provide positive feedback to my students. Outside of teaching, I love to read and write novels. Baking and trying new foods are also some of my favorite hobbies. I also enjoy spending time outdoors, camping, and learning to play the violin. These interests heavily influence my teaching style and methodology. I strongly believe in hands-on learning and incorporating hands-on activities and visuals to make learning engaging and effective for my students. I am looking forward to getting to know you and your family and helping your child reach their full potential through fun and personalized 1:1 sessions. Let's work together to make learning enjoyable and effective for your child! P.S. My favorite shows and house decorations are Harry Potter and Star Wars (specifically Grogu)!
