Hi, my name is Mrs. Clark, and I am excited to start this learning journey with you! With 21 years of teaching under my belt, I've had the pleasure of guiding learners in grades 4 through 6 in subjects like math and science. Whether we’re tackling tricky equations or exploring the wonders of the universe, my goal is to make each lesson as engaging as it is educational. I’ve taught in the state of Texas and Arkansas, and I can't wait to bring that experience to our online sessions! To keep our online learning lively, I love using interactive tools to make real-world connections to what we're studying. Think of math as not just numbers, but as puzzles we can unlock together! I use hands-on materials and fun activities to make learning feel like an adventure, and I pull in real-life examples to show how what we learn makes sense outside the screen. With methods like Singapore Math, we’ll tackle challenges in ways that are exciting and inspiring! When I’m not busy teaching, you might find me stargazing, hiking to waterfalls, biking, reading, or trying out new adventures like kayaking. I believe these interests help me bring more to my teaching, as we can weave in lessons from nature and the world around us. Hey ya'll, my name is Dr. Shelby Miller. I have been an educator for 17 years. I have taught science, math, English, reading, and social studies. I am from Southern Mississippi (the Gulf Coast). Some of my hobbies are going on cruises to tropical destinations, reading books before I see them in the theater, and gardening (even though I do not have a green thumb). 🎉 As an experienced educator for 24 years, I have taught learners in elementary 1st-5th grade, as well as gifted resource. In addition, I have been providing tutoring services in reading and math. My love for teaching and passion for helping children learn are what keep me going every day. I have primarily taught in Missouri, where I have a wealth of knowledge and experience in creating fun and engaging learning experiences for young learners. With a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, a Masters degree in Library Media, and certification in Gifted Education, I am well-equipped and qualified to help your child succeed. I am also certified in Elementary education for grades 1-6, as well as Library Media and Gifted education for Kindergarten-12th grade. My goal is to make learning enjoyable and effective for my students. In order to achieve this, I take the time to get to know each learner's interests and use formative assessments to track their progress. Outside of teaching, I enjoy reading, hiking, and spending time with my family. These interests not only bring me joy, but also influence my teaching style and methodology. I believe that getting to know my learners and their interests is key to keeping them engaged and excited about learning. I have been teaching for 19 years and have experience teaching a variety of subjects and grade levels. I have taught 2nd grade, K-5 Computer Science, STEM, and Gifted & Talented programs in New Jersey. Outside of teaching, I enjoy reading, going to theme parks, playing puzzles, card games, board games, hiking, bike riding, and traveling.

I have 2 years of experience teaching Kindergarten in sunny Florida. I hold a Bachelor's degree in early childhood education and I am a FLDOE certified teacher. In my classes, I use fun and interactive games to keep my learners engaged and motivated. But it's not all fun and games, I also have effective strategies in place to ensure that online learning is just as effective as in-person learning. I frequently utilize tools like screen sharing, annotation, and breakout discussions to keep my students active and involved. And I always check in with my students to make sure they are understanding the material. Outside of teaching, I love reading and traveling. My experiences visiting different places, such as Washington, DC, South Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Jamaica, have allowed me to incorporate cultural, historical, and geographical insights into my lessons. This helps my learners see the topics we're learning about in a global and real-world context. Hi my name is Mrs. Vogel and I am excited to start this learning journey with you! With over 10 years of teaching experience, I have had the opportunity to work with learners from Kindergarten through 8th grade. My teaching experience includes being a K-2 Instructional Strategist and teaching subjects such as Computer Technology and English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL). I have also taught 2nd grade, 3rd grade, and 6th-8th grade Computer Technology.

My name is Alex, I like video games and technology. I am a computer science major.

With four years of teaching experience under my belt, I’ve had the joy of working with kids in South Carolina and Georgia, both as a substitute teacher and as a reading tutor. I’ve even sprinkled some web development magic at the college level! To make online learning fun, I dive into what makes each learner tick! I love to bring humor, silly hats, and catchy tunes into our lessons to help kids feel at ease and eager to engage. Together, we’ll set off on a personalized adventure, discovering how you want to learn while keeping it lively and exciting! I’ll also track how you’re doing along the way to ensure we’re hitting those learning goals. Outside of teaching, I’m all about yoga, Pilates, and enjoying a good book or some art time.
