Hi! I’m a certified English teacher who loves helping students grow as readers and writers. I’ve spent years teaching elementary, middle, and high school ELA and tutoring students in everything reading-related. I believe every student can succeed with the right support. My sessions focus on building confidence, breaking down tough concepts, and making learning meaningful and fun. Parents often tell me their kids feel more prepared and motivated after working with me, and that’s what I love most about what I do.

Hi! My name is Morgan, and I’m excited to start this learning journey with you! I’ve been teaching for 9 years and have experience supporting elementary through high school students across multiple subjects. I currently teach high school special education and hold a Master’s degree in Special Education and a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. Over the years, I’ve taught English/Language Arts, Math, Civics, Personal Finance, Wellness, Study Skills, Physical Education, and have also worked as a substitute teacher for Kindergarten through 8th grade. I have a strong background in special education and believe that every learner deserves to feel supported, valued, and capable of success. My lessons are engaging, flexible, and tailored to each student’s individual needs. I love bringing creativity into my sessions — whether through stories, real-world examples, or game-inspired activities — to make learning both fun and meaningful. Outside of teaching, I enjoy reading and playing video games, which actually influence my teaching style. My love for reading inspires me to help learners develop a lifelong appreciation for it, and my enthusiasm for gaming helps me design lessons that are interactive, motivating, and full of opportunities for critical thinking and problem-solving. I’m excited to get to know each learner and their family and to work together to build confidence, skills, and a genuine love for learning!

With 7 years of experience teaching learners in grades 5-12 and a degree in MAT Secondary English Education, I have a passion for helping students improve their reading and writing skills. I’ve had the privilege of teaching in Georgia as well as online worldwide, connecting with students from diverse backgrounds and cultures. Through my years of teaching, I’ve learned the value of creating a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages growth and confidence in my learners. To make online learning fun and engaging, I believe it’s important to incorporate interactive tools that spark curiosity and encourage active participation. From polls and quizzes to breakout rooms and group projects, I love finding ways to make lessons dynamic and enjoyable for my learners. I also make sure to create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere by incorporating student interests and icebreakers that help everyone get to know each other. In addition, I use a variety of media, such as videos, visuals, and live demonstrations, to keep lessons interesting and cater to different learning styles. Outside of teaching, I love exploring new places and trying out new experiences that fuel creativity and joy. Whether it’s trying a new recipe, reading a good book, or spending time with loved ones, I believe in finding a balance between work and activities that bring happiness and growth. My personal interests definitely influence my teaching style and methodology, as I strive to create engaging and meaningful lessons that not only educate but also inspire and connect with my learners. I am excited to bring my unique approach to our learning sessions and work together to achieve your goals!
