I’ve been teaching for 9 years and have experience supporting elementary through high school students across multiple subjects. I currently teach high school special education and hold a Master’s degree in Special Education and a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. Over the years, I’ve taught English/Language Arts, Math, Civics, Personal Finance, Wellness, Study Skills, Physical Education, and have also worked as a substitute teacher for Kindergarten through 8th grade. With 7 years of experience teaching learners in grades 5-12 and a degree in MAT Secondary English Education, I have a passion for helping students improve their reading and writing skills. I’ve had the privilege of teaching in Georgia as well as online worldwide, connecting with students from diverse backgrounds and cultures. I have been an educator for over 20 years! I currently live in New Jersey - with my husband, two children (10th grade and 7th grade). My children participate in a lot of activities, however we are a hockey family with both my kids playing roller and ice hockey. We also have a dog - Marvel - named after Captain Marvel from the Avengers. We got her during the pandemic and she is so spoiled.
