Hi! My name is Mrs. Kasey Wilson. I am married with three kids, ages 10, 15 and 18. I love reading, crafting and spending time with my family.

For the past 22 years, I have been teaching 2nd and 3rd grade students in various subjects. My experience in elementary education has given me a deep understanding of how young learners best absorb and retain information. I have primarily taught in North Carolina, which has allowed me to build strong connections within the community and understand the unique needs of local families. I hold a degree in Elementary Education and am constantly seeking new and innovative ways to make learning fun and engaging for my students. I love using songs, music, and chants to introduce topics and help concepts ""stick"" in their minds. My enthusiasm for teaching and learning create a positive learning environment that fosters a love for learning. Additionally, I prioritize building a strong relationship with my students and making meaningful connections to ensure a successful learning experience. Outside of teaching, my interests include reading, cooking, and spending time in the mountains with my family. These hobbies greatly influence my teaching style and methodology as I always strive to make learning relevant and share stories to further engage my students. I believe that learning should be enjoyable and meaningful, and I can't wait to get to know your child and support them in their learning journey. Let's make learning an adventure together!

Hi! My name is Alexis, and I am a certified educator in Connecticut for elementary education. I double majored in college and hold a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies. I have been teaching for four years with students ranging from kindergarten all the way up to 5th grade. I have worked as an intervention tutor as well which is where I worked with students in a small group or one on one setting and helped them in reading, phonics, and math to help them get to grade level if they were a bit behind! I have been tutoring online with ClassDojo for a year and I have been really enjoying it just as much as in person teaching.
